Among other deals, Amazon is offering a Sony VAIO EJ2 Series (VPCEJ28FX/B) 17.3-inch laptop for $691.83, about $108 off the regular price. That model includes a 17.3 1600x900 display, Intel Core i5 processor (2.4GHz), 4GB memory, 640GB hard drive, and Blu-ray player.
Amazon is also offering an Android Honeycomb-based Toshiba Thrive tablet (16GB) for $372, discounted from $399.99.
At Best Buy, don't expect to find many $199 BlackBerry PlayBook tablets, however. Most, if not all, of those have sold out over the last week or so at the national retailer.
Verizon is also chiming in with tablet and smartphone deals. With a two-year mobile broadband activation, an Android 3.2 4G LTE Motorola Xoom tablet is available for $199.99, $100 off the regular price.
